Mileage Policy

Your allowance, how usage is measured and how to keep your plan working for you.

Updated 17 October 2026

Your allowance belongs to your billing period.

Check your confirmed mileage package, excess rate and billing dates in your vehicle quote and agreement. Request a package change before the next period.

7 sections
01

Your selected package

Your vehicle listing, confirmed quote and signed agreement state the mileage package offered for that vehicle, its monthly allowance, any upgrade fee and the excess rate per kilometre. Lite currently includes 1,500 km per monthly billing period. Other packages apply only when offered and confirmed for your vehicle.

Do not assume an excess rate for one vehicle applies to another. We disclose any vehicle-specific rate before you commit; an unpublished or unagreed rate is not imposed through this policy.

02

Billing periods and unused mileage

Mileage is assessed for each monthly billing period under your agreement. Unused allowance expires at the end of that period, with no pooling across the subscription term or rollover, unless your confirmed vehicle schedule expressly offers a different arrangement.

For example, using 1,200 km of a 1,500 km allowance leaves 300 km unused. Under a no-rollover package, the next period starts with 1,500 km, not 1,800 km. Your schedule identifies billing-period boundaries and any applicable partial-period calculation.

03

Measuring your use

The vehicle odometer is the primary measurement. Handover and return reports, timestamped odometer photographs, service records and disclosed GPS or telematics mileage and trip records can support verification. See the Privacy Notice for monitoring information.

We record readings at relevant handovers and billing checks. You may request the readings and calculation behind an excess charge. Report an incorrect reading or equipment fault promptly so we can investigate; a disputed or missing tracker reading is not automatically proof of customer tampering. Never alter an odometer or interfere with tracking equipment.

04

Excess mileage and partial periods

Excess kilometres are the verified distance above the allowance applicable to that billing period. The charge is excess kilometres multiplied by the vehicle-specific rate disclosed in your confirmed quote and agreement. We show the usage, allowance, rate and calculation on the relevant statement.

When a period is shorter than a full billing month, the agreed proration method determines its allowance. Your schedule must state the divisor, chargeable days and rounding treatment before signing. We do not assume a particular proration formula from an example or apply an undisclosed rate retrospectively.

05

Changing your mileage package

Request a change through your dashboard or Get in touch before the next billing period. Changes are subject to approval, availability and the notice period in your agreement. We confirm the price and effective date in writing.

Your existing package applies until the confirmed effective date. A retrospective downgrade cannot remove charges for mileage already incurred; a retrospective upgrade applies only if expressly agreed. A submitted request alone does not change your allowance.

06

Unlimited mileage and responsible driving

Unlimited mileage, where expressly offered, removes the normal personal-use kilometre ceiling. It does not waive servicing intervals, driver, territory or vehicle-use restrictions.

It does not permit ride-hailing, food or parcel delivery, courier work, commercial passenger transport, driving instruction, racing, track use, endurance testing, sub-rental or other unapproved commercial activity. Obtain written approval and suitable insurance for any proposed use outside ordinary personal driving.

Queries and corrections

Contact us with your subscription reference, billing period and the reading you believe is wrong. Keep relevant odometer photos or service records. We review the evidence, explain the outcome and correct substantiated billing errors. Raising a query does not remove your banking, consumer or statutory dispute rights.
